A life of
my own.
For my fortieth birthday, I gave myself a year away from everyday life and spent it travelling and surfing with my wife. Somewhere in Indonesia, during what may have been one of our best sessions together, I realised just how much that year had given me.
Over time, Indonesia became something like a second home · a place I keep returning to, both for the waves and for everything that happens in between.
I teach in Vienna, but travelling, surfing, photography and music have become constant parts of my life, shaping the way I see places, people and moments.
The photographs here are part of that ongoing journey.
